Skin Needs of African American and Multiracial Women

Overall, close to half of African American and multiracial women believe that women of color have skin needs which are different to those of other women. Age is a significant factor in experienced concerns and benefits sought. 

African American and Multiracial Women Skin Care Purchasing 

On average, surveyed African American and multiracial women reported using a number of different skincare products in the past 6 months. Surveyed multiracial women spend more on skincare than they do on haircare products. Although there are some skincare brands founded by, and catering specifically for, multicultural women, these are not as widely used as multicultural brands are in the haircare category.
